Connect your domain to C Building: add DNS records at Nhân Hòa

The short version

If your domain's nameservers are *.zonedns.vn, go to zonedns.vn, sign in with the domain details Nhân Hòa gave you and select the domain. Change an existing record with the same name using its pencil icon; add the card's other records with "Tên record" (name), "Loại record" (type) and "Giá trị record" (value), then save.

When you connect a domain, C Building first looks at where the domain's DNS is, that is, its nameservers. You add the records wherever the DNS is, which isn't necessarily where you bought the domain. For example, a domain bought at Nhân Hòa with its DNS on Cloudflare gets its records at Cloudflare (see add DNS records at Cloudflare).

The records to add (type, name, value) are the ones listed on the card when you connect the domain, so this guide gives no fixed values. Use the record types exactly as the card shows them; if a name already has an old record, edit or delete it first, then add what the card lists.

When this guide applies

Only when the domain's nameservers are Nhân Hòa's *.zonedns.vn, for example ns1.zonedns.vn and ns2.zonedns.vn. If you're not sure, look up the domain's current nameservers at whois.nhanhoa.com. Note that zonedns.com is a different company, not Nhân Hòa.

If the nameservers belong to another company (for example Cloudflare), records on zonedns.vn have no effect: add them where those nameservers are managed.

Adding the records at Nhân Hòa

  1. Go to zonedns.vn and sign in with the domain admin username and password Nhân Hòa gave you.
  2. Select your domain to open its records.
  3. If a name on the card already has a record, select its pencil icon, change "Giá trị record" (Record value) to the card's value and select "Sửa Record" (Edit record).
  4. For each other record on the card, enter "Tên record" (Record name), choose "Loại record" (Record type) as the card shows, enter "Giá trị record" (Record value), keep the default TTL, and save.

Good to know

  • If the old record's type differs from the card's, changing the value isn't enough: delete it first, then add the record as the card shows.

How long it takes

Nhân Hòa's help pages don't say how long new records take.

Once the records are in, C Building checks them automatically. There's no need to come back and let us know.

Want C Building to manage your DNS? Change the nameservers

You don't have to do this: adding the records above is enough to connect the domain. Only if you want C Building to manage the domain's whole DNS do you change the nameservers at Nhân Hòa to ns1.cbuilding.net, ns2.cbuilding.net, ns3.cbuilding.net and ns4.cbuilding.net (as listed on the card).

Before you do: once the nameservers change, every record kept at Nhân Hòa stops working, including the MX and TXT records your e-mail needs. Move the e-mail records to C Building as well, or mail may stop arriving. See Before you change nameservers: email records, DNSSEC and registrar extras first.

  1. Sign in at id.nhanhoa.com (it now opens customer.nhanhoa.com).
  2. In the menu, under "Quản lý theo dịch vụ" (Manage by service), open "Tên miền" (Domains).
  3. Select your domain and choose "Chỉnh sửa DNS" (Edit DNS).
  4. Replace the nameservers with the ones on the C Building card and select "Lưu" (Save) or "Cập nhật" (Update).

Records kept on zonedns.vn stop working after the change. It takes from a few minutes up to 24 hours; a WHOIS lookup shows when the new nameservers are in place.

Sources: these steps follow Nhân Hòa's own help pages (checked October 2026): Pointing a domain to hosting, Pointing a domain's IP on zonedns.vn, Managing DNS for a domain, Changing nameservers in the customer panel. Control panels change from time to time; if a button is worded slightly differently, go by what you see on screen.
