How to change nameservers to C Building at Mắt Bão, Nhân Hòa, P.A Vietnam, iNET and TenTen

The short version

Start hosting DNS in C Building first, then open your domain at the registrar and replace the nameservers with ns1.cbuilding.net to ns4.cbuilding.net. Mắt Bão: "Chi tiết dịch vụ" → "DNS tùy chỉnh". Nhân Hòa: "Tên miền" → "Chỉnh sửa DNS". P.A Vietnam: access.pavietnam.vn → "THAY ĐỔI DNS". iNET: "Tên miền" → "Cập nhật DNS". TenTen: "Tên miền" → "Cài đặt NS".

If you bought your domain from a Vietnamese registrar and want C Building to manage all of its DNS, you change the domain's nameservers at that registrar to C Building's (Vietnamese panels often call this "đổi DNS" or "trỏ tên miền về nameserver"). This guide covers five popular registrars: Mắt Bão, Nhân Hòa, P.A Vietnam, iNET and TenTen.

The steps follow each registrar's official help pages (listed under "Sources" at the end), checked on October 28, 2026. Menu names are given in Vietnamese, as the panels show them. If nameservers are new to you, start with What are nameservers?.

Do you really need to change nameservers?

No. If you only want the domain to open your C Building website, you can keep DNS at the registrar and just add the few records shown on the card when you connect the domain. See the guide for your registrar: Mắt Bão, Nhân Hòa, P.A Vietnam, iNET, TenTen.

Changing nameservers makes sense when you want all your DNS records in one place in C Building, or want C Building's AI to edit records for you.

Step 1: start hosting in C Building first

Order matters: finish the setup in C Building first, then change the nameservers at the registrar. If you change the nameservers first, your old records stop working at once, and your website and email can go down.

  1. On the website's "Domains & publishing" page, or the "Domain" tab in the editor settings panel, find "Let C Building manage your DNS" and click "Let C Building manage DNS".
  2. Choose how to read your current records: "Detect automatically", "Import from Cloudflare" or "Paste a zone file".
  3. Under "Confirm the records to bring over", tick each record you want (including your email's MX and TXT records), use "Add a record" for any that are missing, then click "Start hosting".
  4. The screen shows "Last step: change the nameservers at your registrar" with four nameservers and a "Copy all" button.

C Building's four nameservers are ns1.cbuilding.net, ns2.cbuilding.net, ns3.cbuilding.net and ns4.cbuilding.net. After you start hosting, change the nameservers within 3 days. If you don't, this setup and the records you brought over are deleted, and you have to click "Start again". The full flow is in Let C Building manage your DNS.

Because of the 3-day limit, make sure you can sign in to your registrar's domain panel (and receive its OTP code, if it asks for one) before you click "Start hosting".

The five registrars at a glance

Mắt Bão

  1. Sign in to id.matbao.net with your ID account code (it looks like MBxxxxxx).
  2. Go to "Tên miền" (Domains) → "Quản lý tên miền" (Manage domains) and click "Chi tiết dịch vụ" (Service details) for the domain.
  3. Under Name Server, choose "DNS tùy chỉnh" (custom DNS), not "Sử dụng DNS Pro Mắt Bão".
  4. Remove the old nameservers, enter ns1.cbuilding.net, ns2.cbuilding.net, ns3.cbuilding.net and ns4.cbuilding.net, and save.
  5. If asked, click "Xác thực OTP", choose "SMS OTP" or "Email OTP" and enter the code.
  • Mắt Bão asks for an OTP for sensitive actions, including changing the Name Server. The code goes to the phone number and email registered with Mắt Bão (SMS from MATBAO, email from [email protected]) and is valid for 10 minutes.
  • Mắt Bão's own nameservers are ns1/ns2.matbao.com or ns1/ns2.matbao.vn. After the change, records kept at Mắt Bão no longer apply.
  • Mắt Bão says the change can take up to 24 hours. Support hotline: 1900 1830.

Nhân Hòa

  1. Sign in to the service panel at id.nhanhoa.com.
  2. In the menu, under "Quản lý theo dịch vụ" (Manage by service), choose "Tên miền" (Domains) to see your domains.
  3. Click the domain and choose "Chỉnh sửa DNS" (Edit DNS).
  4. Replace the current nameservers (for example ns1.zonedns.vn and ns2.zonedns.vn) with ns1.cbuilding.net to ns4.cbuilding.net.
  5. Click "Lưu" (Save) or "Cập nhật" (Update). A message confirms the change.
  • After the change, records on zonedns.vn no longer apply.
  • Nhân Hòa says it can take from a few minutes to 24 hours; a WHOIS lookup shows when the new nameservers are on file.

P.A Vietnam

  1. Go to access.pavietnam.vn and sign in with the domain name and the domain password P.A sent you.
  2. Open "THAY ĐỔI DNS" (Change DNS).
  3. Replace the current nameservers (for example ns1.pavietnam.vn and ns2.pavietnam.vn) with ns1.cbuilding.net to ns4.cbuilding.net.
  4. Click "LƯU CẤU HÌNH" (Save configuration).
  • For .vn domains, P.A's guide asks for both the name and the IP address of each nameserver. C Building's IPs are in the table under "Notes for .vn domains" below.
  • P.A says the change takes about 24 hours.
  • P.A's panel changes over time; if the menu is named slightly differently, look for the domain's DNS or nameserver settings.

iNET

  1. Sign in to portal.inet.vn with your iNET account.
  2. Choose "Tên miền" (Domains).
  3. Click the three-dot icon next to the domain and choose "Cập nhật DNS" (Update DNS).
  4. Replace ns1.inet.vn and ns2.inet.vn with ns1.cbuilding.net and ns2.cbuilding.net, then click "Thêm" (Add) to enter ns3.cbuilding.net and ns4.cbuilding.net.
  5. Click "Lưu" (Save).
  • Once the domain no longer uses ns1/ns2.inet.vn, records you edit at iNET have no effect.
  • iNET says the change can take up to 72 hours to reach the whole internet.

TenTen

  1. Sign in at id.tenten.vn.
  2. In the left menu, choose "Quản lý dịch vụ" (Manage services) → "Tên miền" (Domains).
  3. In the "Thao tác" (Actions) column next to the domain, click "Cài đặt NS" (NS settings).
  4. Choose the section for nameservers outside TenTen's system, enter ns1.cbuilding.net to ns4.cbuilding.net and save.
  • The NameServer page has separate parts for international domains (.com, .net, .info, .io…) and .vn domains, plus options for domains on TenTen's Failover, SeoLover and SecureWeb hosting. Use the part that matches your domain.
  • TenTen says the system updates within about 30 minutes to 1 hour after you save.

Notes for .vn domains

  • A suspended domain cannot change nameservers. Since December 25, 2024, under Decree 147/2024/NĐ-CP, a .vn domain can be suspended, for example when its registration details are inaccurate, the registrant cannot be identified, or the maintenance fee is unpaid. While suspended, its DNS servers cannot be changed. Update the registrant details with your registrar first, then start hosting in C Building.
  • You may have to enter IPs. Some forms (for example P.A Vietnam for .vn domains) ask for each nameserver's IP address. If the form requires it, use the table below (looked up on October 28, 2026). If the form doesn't ask, just enter the nameserver names.
  • .vn changes can take longer than international domains. If C Building still says the nameservers haven't changed after the time your registrar gives, contact the registrar.

How long does it take, and how do I check?

Each registrar's own figure is in the table above. C Building says it usually takes minutes to hours, and can take up to 48 hours. Once it takes effect, your website connects automatically.

  • When you're done at the registrar, go back to C Building and click "Check now".
  • When it says "The nameservers have changed. Your DNS is now managed by C Building.", you're done. Use "Manage DNS records" to edit records from then on.
  • If it says "The nameservers have not changed yet.", it also lists the nameservers the registry has on file, so you can spot a typo.
  • Filling in only some of the nameservers still works, but all four is more reliable.

If the nameservers are later changed away from C Building, record editing is paused. If they are not changed back within 14 days, hosting ends automatically. Before you switch, also read Before you change nameservers: email and DNSSEC.

Frequently asked questions

I only want my domain to open my website. Do I need to change nameservers?

No. You can keep DNS at your registrar and just add the records shown on the domain connection card. See how to add records at Mắt Bão, Nhân Hòa, P.A Vietnam, iNET or TenTen.

Will changing nameservers affect my email?

It can, if you forget to bring your email records over. After the change, every record kept at the old provider stops applying, including the MX and TXT records your email needs. Tick them when you start hosting in C Building. See Before you change nameservers: email and DNSSEC.

The registrar's form asks for an IP address. What do I enter?

Only fill it in if the form requires it (most common with .vn domains). Use the IPv4 addresses from the table under "Notes for .vn domains": ns1.cbuilding.net 205.251.196.82, ns2.cbuilding.net 205.251.193.12, ns3.cbuilding.net 205.251.194.225, ns4.cbuilding.net 205.251.198.20.

The form only has room for two nameservers. Is that OK?

Yes, enter ns1.cbuilding.net and ns2.cbuilding.net. C Building recommends all four when the form allows it (at iNET, click "Thêm" to add more fields).

What if more than 3 days have passed and I haven't changed the nameservers?

The setup and the records you brought over have been deleted. Click "Start again" in C Building first, then change the nameservers at the registrar. Changing the nameservers first makes your website and email stop working.

Does changing nameservers move my domain to C Building?

No. The domain stays registered at Mắt Bão, Nhân Hòa, P.A Vietnam, iNET or TenTen, and you keep renewing it there. C Building only manages the DNS records.
