Pricing questions

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan costs $0 and has no time limit. A new account gets 100 points when it signs up, and they do not expire. It also includes 3 websites, a C Building web address and 1 GB of storage. It does not include a custom domain.

How much does Pro cost?

Pro is US$20 a month (excluding tax) and includes 2,000 points every month, unlimited websites and custom domains, and 10 GB of storage. Billed monthly.

What are points, and what uses them?

1 point = US$0.01. Points pay for two things. AI (the website AI, the assistant chat and web search) is charged by usage, and one AI turn uses at most 50 points (US$0.50), AI images included; each AI image uses 6 points; a turn that starts while you still have points always finishes, using what is left down to 0 and never more. The environments the AI works in are charged by their running time. Your website's editing environment (sandbox) uses about 24 points an hour while it runs, which is while you edit the website or the AI works on it; it goes to sleep after a few minutes without use and uses no points while asleep. The assistant (小C) has an environment of its own, which uses about 10 points an hour while it works on your requests and for about 5 minutes after, then pauses and uses no points. Opening the assistant's chat also starts its environment for about 2 minutes; that time is charged only if you send a request while it is running. Hosting and visitor traffic use no points. Publishing has no fee of its own, but its build runs in the editing environment, whose running time uses points (about 1 point each time).

What if I run out of points?

On Pro you can top up at any time: US$10, $25, $50, $100 or $200 give 1,000, 2,500, 5,000, 10,000 or 20,000 points. On Free, upgrade to Pro to keep going.

Do points expire?

Yes. Sign-up points do not expire. Pro's monthly points are valid for 2 months after they are given, and only while your Pro plan is active. Top-up points are valid for 12 months after purchase. The points that expire soonest are always used first. Sign-up points are used last.

Which plan includes a custom domain?

Pro includes unlimited custom domains.

Does Pro renew automatically?

Yes. Pro renews every month until you cancel: about a day before each paid month ends, we charge the card you last paid with, and the next month's 2,000 points arrive at once.

How do I cancel?

On the Membership page, choose “Cancel auto-renewal”. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan and you are not charged again. You can turn renewal back on before then.

Can I get a refund?

Payments for a month that has started, and points you have bought, are generally non-refundable, including if you cancel during the month. If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount or affected by a system error, e-mail [email protected] within 30 days and we will review and correct it. This does not limit any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

How can I pay?

By credit or debit card. Payments are processed by Stripe: your card details go straight to Stripe, and we never see your full card number.

Can I use a discount code or a referral code?

Yes. On the payment page, enter a discount code, or the referral code of the friend who invited you, under “Discount or referral code”. A discount code lowers the price of that one order only (for Pro, the first month). A referral code does not lower the price: when you pay for Pro for the first time, you and your friend both get reward points. Your own referral link is on the Membership page, under “Invite friends”. The full rules are in the points terms.

What happens to my websites if my points run out or I go back to Free?

Your websites are kept, and published websites stay online: hosting and visitor traffic use no points. Without points, editing and AI work stop: on Free, upgrade to Pro to keep going; on Pro, add points or wait for next month's points. If Pro ends, your account moves to the Free plan: your websites and connected custom domains stay online, now with the small “Made with C Building” label of the Free plan, but going beyond the Free plan's 3 websites or connecting a new custom domain needs Pro, and unused plan points are on hold until you subscribe again.

Do I get a receipt or invoice?

Your payments are listed on the Membership page with their order number, date and amount. If you need a receipt or an invoice for your records, e-mail [email protected].

Is there a yearly plan?

No. Pro is billed monthly only, and you can cancel any month.

Are taxes included?

Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax. Where we are required to collect tax, it is added at checkout.
